About the best period* to enjoy your charter, we highly recommend to rent a catamaran in Sicily from mid April to mid October, so from Spring to beginning of Autumn. The high charter season is from May to September, as it’s summer period in Sicily: in these months the weather is hot and dry with loads of sunshine. The average high temperature is currently at 23°C in June and then climbs to 26°C in July and August before dropping to 24°C in September. Nights are quite warm, the average temperatures ranging from 15°C to 19°C, which allows for pleasant evening walks in one of the inland villages of the island or along the coast. A dip in the warm sea or a trip up into the green hills provides relief, although the heat, especially in the summer months of July and August, can be slightly uneasy. The water temperature gets up to 27°C in August, which is more than comfortable enough for everyone to swim. In September and July, the Mediterranean Sea is 25°C hot on average.

If you opt for bareboat charter we will need a copy of your sailing license and resume. Don’t forget to take with your your nautical license during your trip or we can not deliver the catamaran;
- We will send you the charter agreement, you will review it and if you need clarifications, you will share it with us. After everything is set, you send us a copy of the contract signed, and we will send you back the copy signed by the owner, for mutual acceptance;
- Upon signing the contract it’s required the first tranche of payment, that is the 50% of the charter rate. To confirm completely the booking, we will have to receive the first amount;
- 30 days before the embarkation it’s required the balance (50% of the charter rate), together with the list of your extras;

The other expenses, as food and drinks, marinas and ports, fuel for generator are not included and you will pay the directly.
Usually fuel is not an important cost to consider during catamaran charter, as you will sail most of the time. But don’t forget that if you stay at anchor and of course, you use the generator, you will consume fuel.
Also considering that could happens to enjoy some days with few wind or not windy at all, you can estimate the costs of cruising with engine.
